McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park…In The Heart of Scottsdale, Arizona

If you are looking for things that are “almost free” to do with the kids…look no further! You can have a great day enjoying Arizona’s lovely weather at the McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park.

This huge, unusual park offers more than just swing sets and merry-go-rounds. Take a ride on the Paradise and Pacific Railroad traveling the one mile track through the park. The cost is only $2 per person.

And the fun does not end there! They have a beautiful Carousel as well with more than 30 horses. It will take the parents back in time and thrill the little ones. And this fun will only set you back $1 per person!

The park itself it HUGE and is the perfect place for a birthday party, reunion or just to get the family together for a potluck picnic. You can even rent Ramadas for large events.

Like history? This is the place for you. The park has many original old school trains in the park. Take a look at what they have to offer here. Also, be sure the check out the Model Railroad Building. (I have always loved the model trains)

Forgot to bring snacks? No worries…they have them there. So make a plan for a fun, inexpensive day with the family in the beautiful AZ weather.
